My Favourite Vintage Piece Meet our lovely model Hannah Freeman. Hannah, 30, was spotted by us at a vintage fashion fair where, basically, we stalked her! Having laid our trap, we ambushed the poor girl and insisted that she become part of the pippaandme team immediately! Luckily for us she was happy to come on board. We think you’ll agree that she looks fantastic and wears vintage very well.Hannah is a Commercial Manager for Aigua Media and is the owner of frenchkissvintage.com. This is her favourite vintage piece… ‘I was on my way to meet a friend, so not even thinking about vintage shopping, but I happened to pass a shop and something caught my eye. Among all the dull winter wear some splendiferous gold pleats flashed out at me. When I looked closer I saw the gold pleats belonged to a fabulous evening dress, reminiscent of something Joan Collins would’ve worn in the kitsch Eighties TV show Dynasty. It certainly wouldn’t have looked out of place at a cocktail party with Blake Carrington so, of course, I had to have it! Its first outing was very special... my boyfriend had whisked me off to Paris for the weekend — très romantic! I had booked us a night out at the wonderful Parisian cabaret theatre Crazy Horse, which is renowned for its vintage burlesque. It recently played host to a performance by Dita Von Teese no less! My glittering gold dress made me feel as glamorous as the location, so it has very special memories for me…’ Do you have a favourite piece of vintage?
